Space

Hello Readers,

All humans have three lives, public, private and secret and sometimes solitude is the best company of all. During our busy lives, many of us rush around like lunatics, trying to cram everything into short spaces of time until we feel as though our heads will explode. Sometimes you may feel as though you literally have nothing else left to give to give, and this is when you will feel a great need to retreat from the madness and just be quiet and still in order to repair and restore. Some people just don’t grasp the concept and importance of respecting another person’s personal space.  They do not see it as an invasion of their privacy. It’s what they have always managed to get away with previously and cannot see anything wrong with it. They may even accuse you of being anti-social if you make a complaint.

Having your own space makes an enormous difference to how you think and feel. While nothing new is created in a vacuum, people often need time and space to rest and allow their ideas to flow naturally whilst thinking things through.  Having personal space allows for deeper relaxation and greater concentration because it’s very difficult to think clearly and make good decisions if you are immersed in constant chaos and disorganisation. Getting jobs done and completing projects is not a matter of having enough time, it’s a matter of creating enough space in your head to concentrate and focus on what you have to do next.

Privacy is not just something that we are entitled to, it is absolutely essential. It’s got nothing at all to do with being reclusive, just private. There are times when being away from someone for a period of time to realise just how much you really miss them and want them in your life. A little time, space and distance is often just certain situations and relationships need in order to obtain a clearer perspective of what is really going on.  It’s a way of finding out if someone is going to really miss you or just forget you. Time, space and distance teaches us to appreciate the days that we are able to spend with loved ones and the definition of patience. It’s a reminder that every moment spent together is special and that every second together should be cherished.

Until Next Week,

Love and Light,
