Appreciate The People Who Matter

Hello Readers,

When people walk out of your life, let them go.  If they honestly wanted to be there in the first place, they would never have chosen to leave.  When you truly love anyone, you never consider that person out of your life for even a minute, hour or day.  If someone does leave you, this is the time to appreciate your family, friends and the people that never dreamed of abandoning you, but who were there at your darkest and loneliest moments as its those who really matter and who can be counted on when everything around you is going wrong. If friends disappoint you over and over again, that’s in large partly your fault.  Once someone has shown a tendency to be selfish and self-centred, you need to recognise that and take care of yourself because people are not going to change just because you want them to.  A friendship that can cease has never been real.

True friends never walk out on your because they love and care about you too much.  Sometimes in life, if you are fortunate enough, you will meet one person, a romantic partner perhaps or a good friend, besides family, who wants to spend their life with you and it’s this person who will never give you any reason to worry or doubt them because the right person will be your soul mate.  They will be supportive, loyal and your very best friend.  You will always be their main priority and they would never dream of putting anyone or anything else before you.  They will view your lives as intertwined with one another and work towards a goal, sharing everything together including building up respect and trust along the way and being there for one another through the trials and tribulations of life.  They will do everything humanly possible, making many sacrifices along they if need be just so that you are happy.  When someone finds that, that is what is called true love and friendship because love and trust is what binds everything together.  Friendship is as delicate as glass, once broken it can be fixed, but there will always be cracks and no person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow.  Friendship isn’t about who you have known the longest, it’s about who came and never left your side.
