Complex Relationships

Hello Readers,

There is nothing that causes as much angst, uncertainty and personal insecurities as human relationships. Uninvited problems and ‘spanner’s in the works’ can happen in a split second and often prove difficult and ultimately life changing to the point where we no longer neither recognise ourselves nor some of the people we thought we knew so well. People are like Rubik’s Cubes with many sides to them, most of which you never really get to see nor be given the chance to understand because so few people really appreciate or understand themselves never mind others. Never assume that you really know anyone because no one does. People are often so full of unexpected surprises and sometimes it can be those who are closest to us who let us down and disappoint and in the same vein some people we barely know come good and go on to be lifelong friends. Never make the mistake of taking anyone nor anything in this life for granted. Love is the most powerful thing that can turn anyone’s world upside down. You have to be all in or get out because there is no half way.

Love isn’t complicated, people are. Some relationships are like glass, sometimes it’s better to leave them broken than trying to hurt your self-putting it back together again. Sometimes you are both the best and worst things that ever happened to you. Some relationships are worth fighting for but you can’t be the only one fighting.

There will be bumps and bruises in any relationship but if you decide to work together and help heal each other’s wounds things have a chance of working out just fine. There are no simple love stories because if they are that simple it’s not love and if it really is love it will definitely get complicated.
