Embrace Each New Day

Hello Readers,

Today is a new day, you have never lived it before and you never will again, so you are either going to make the most of it or simply waste it. Each day is a brand new beginning and we are never too old to start again. No matter how bad, difficult and awful yesterday was, yesterday ended last night and that is that. Whatever happened previously is now yesterday’s news and tomorrow’s chip paper. Its history, it’s gone and as long as we learn from these experiences we can work hard at moving forwards in a positive direction.

Have you noticed how some people go on and on, droning about the past, what might have been, what could have been but never was? They somehow manage to sap the strength out of you with their negativity if you allow them to. Those situations never were because they were not destined to be. All our experiences, the people we meet, The highs the lows the middle bits, everything we endure, enjoy, dislike, resent, the pain, the sorrow, the joy, the laughter the tears, the funny bits, the bad bits, all the bits etc., are all chapters of our lives that we have to live through and experience in order to grow as individuals and discover who we are as people, otherwise, how else do we ever get to know ourselves.

Life is not easy and during all the time I have been writing these posts for you all, I have never once told you that it would be easy because I am a realist and you and I live in the real world, not fantasy island, that’s where the ‘others’ live. One small positive thought can change your whole day and each new day is yet another chance to change your life for the better, but it’s your choice. Start today with renewed optimism and the courage of a lion, the same as I do, and just see what happens next.
