Hello Readers,
One of the easiest things to do is just to simply lose faith and give up giving one excuse after another why it’s a waste of time to have another go at things. We are all driven and motivated by something in this life to a greater or lesser degree and we all need some form of ‘positive stress’ to keep us on our toes.
Each mistake and experience teaches you something new about yourself. There is no failure in life, only experiences but it is the courage to continue and keep trying that matters the most. Sometimes we expect life to work in a certain way and when things don’t go to plan, it’s all too easy to lose heart and quit. What does matter and what is important is to learn to embrace oncoming challenges as an opportunity to grow, develop and mature as a person instead of remaining stuck in a situation that is going nowhere. Sometimes we don’t recognise a good thing until it’s too late and then spend a life time regretting allowing an good opportunity slip through our fingers and pass us by. Great things happen to those who don’t stop believing , trying, learning and being grateful for small mercies. How can any of us have achieved the set goal without endurance and finding the strength, courage and determination to keep going, no matter what adversities challenge us. There is worthwhile fulfilment in life knowing that you tried and did your very best than have settled for second best without putting up a fight to try even harder, because that is the easiest option and requires no effort. Doing your very best in any situation will always make you successful because at least you tried.
Defeat is not the worst of failures, it’s just a minor setback. Not to have tried at all is the worst failure at all. When people tell you that you can’t do something or that your goals are impossible to achieve, this is when you have to try that little bit harder to prove to yourself that once your mindset is positive and determined, you are capable of doing things that at one time you would never have imagined you had the strength of character to achieve. Who you are tomorrow begins with what plans and groundwork you put into building today. If you feel you cannot make it to the finishing line because your circumstances have changed, never be too proud or afraid to ask for help. Be willing to pass on your knowledge, your skills, your information and support to someone else who will continue to carry the torch for you into the future, because when they make it, all your hard work and efforts will not have been in vain.
