Healing Takes Time

Hello Readers,

Time, nature and healing does not rush for anyone, and yet everything gets accomplished. The seasons change when the time is right and nothing can be rushed or forced, we just have to go with the flow and follow the energy in whichever direction it chooses to take us.

It’s important to be kind to yourself, because if you do not, it’s unlikely anyone else will. Appreciate just how far you have come so far and stop yourself from belittling your progress. Be proud of who you are and what you have achieved. You are probably world weary and feel as though you have had just about enough because of all the pressure you have been under for such a long time, but remember, nothing lasts forever and nothing can remain the same. Everything changes when the time is right and not before.

The first step to start feeling better and more in control of your life is to refuse to dance to the tune of other people’s demands and expectations and learn to say ‘no’ to anything that does not feel right for you. It takes courage to stand your ground, but once you have, you will realise that people will not think any the less of you for doing so. Seeking the

constant approval of others and forever doubting yourself is a lost cause and a complete waste of your time and energy. All that matters is that you are doing things at your pace and making steady progress in a positive direction because there are certain things that cannot be rushed or pushed.

How you love and self-care yourself sends out a clear signal to others of how you expect to be treated, so put down those all-important boundaries that let others know that you are in charge of your own life, not them. Self-love is not selfish because you cannot truly love anyone else and once you learn to be happy you won’t be comfortable around people who make you feel anything less.

Put yourself first at the top of the list every single day and the rest will simply fall into place.
