Helping Others

Hello Readers,

 

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of others.  There is no exercise better for the heart and soul than reaching down and lifting people up.  The best antidote I know for worry and stress is to throw yourself into work and keeping busy.  The best cure for weariness and exhaustion is the challenge of helping someone who is worse off than we are.  One of the greatest ironies of this is that people who give from the heart and are happy to serve always benefits more than people who are life’s spongers and takers.

 

Give freely to others the gifts of kindness, love and compassion without concerning yourself whatsoever about how much you receive in return.  Just know in your heart that Karma will see to it that you will be rewarded somewhere down the line, but not necessarily by the person or people you have originally helped.  Sometimes good fortune arrives from a totally different direction. 

I don’t want to be in a world where we don’t look out for one another.  Not just the people who are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand.  I can’t change the way anybody else thinks or feels or what they choose to do, but I can take personal responsibility and do my bit. 

 

There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.  You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.  Doing nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves.  Helping a person will not necessarily change the world, but it will the change the world for that person.  Helping others will always serve to strengthen your success.  If you want to achieve your goals, first help others to achieve theirs. 

 

Make every new day count by helping someone or just making them smile.
