I Wish I Had Done That

Hello Readers,

The world is divided into those who look at others enviously and those who look at others as a motivational tool…….

Regrets? Yes, I have had a few during my time on this planet….and if you are absolutely honest, I am sure you have had them too, and wish you could turn the clock back and do it all again, only differently…..but as it happens, they can be very useful if you choose to use them to make a difference going forwards….

There are three types of ‘I wish I had done that’ scenarios. The first is when you didn’t capitalize on an opportunity, or that you missed out on something. The second is when you see someone who’s done something great and you wish it had been you….and the final type is not you, but the others….the people who hang around with a sort of permanent ‘I could have been a contender’ mentality. Their expressions say ‘If only I had the chances, the lucky breaks, the opportunities. For this last group, the bad news is that even if Lady Luck had popped up and bitten them on the bum, they would still have missed it!!

When it comes to looking at what others have achieved, this world is divided into those who look at others enviously and those who look at others as a motivational tool……so which category do you personally fall into?

The secret is to make the most of each and every moment and opportunity if possible…..if you really want to do something, visit somewhere, help someone out, do a good turn……learn to ride a bike, go to college, take up knitting or snowboarding….
even joining a like minded group where you have every chance of making new friends…….then do it now!!

Life is whizzing by at an alarming rate….and we are just passing through….that’s all….passing through……and friends are only strangers we have not met yet.
