Hello Readers,
Trauma is change we didn’t choose and healing is about creating change and moving forwards. We don’t always get to choose certain things and incidents that happen to us, but we do get to choose how we react to the diagnosis. We can either shrivel up and be the victim or we can fight for the life we want. Everything that happens to us is both character building and character testing, and some people fare better than others.
We can never turn the clock backwards and nothing can ever be exactly the same as before ,but the essence of what we desire can still be there for us and we must be willing to change and adapt with the times, otherwise we get left behind because time doesn’t stand still.
We have to want to change and learn new ways of doing things if we are to survive. That’s how we start to heal, move on and get a new life together despite possibly battling with a chronic illness, injury, relationship problems or other difficulties. For many of us each new day turns out to be a battle that must be fought just to get through from start to finish in one piece, but we strive to heal by using self care and taking one step at a time even if there isn’t a known cure. Hope and faith are our life lines and if we lose those, there isn’t much chance of getting through anything, let alone staying alive, so always be mindful of the importance of having a positive mindset.
Today try doing one or two things that will help you grow and evolve and tomorrow do the same and so forth, and as time goes on you will be amazed as to how far you have strived forwards just by being willing to step out of your comfort zone allowing the universe to help you achieve a much yearned for goal.
Everything starts by bravely and courageously taking the first step of your journey of a thousand miles with the determination to keep going no matter what obstacles or challenges you may encounter along the way. Take a break and rest when you get tired, but remember, quitting simply isn’t an option.
All the power you need is within your soul, so use it to its best and fullest advantage.
