Money won is twice as sweet as money earned. The only true long-term winners are those who achieve success in games of skill and quickness. Some people are fond of complaining and reciting their troubles but not counting their joys and blessings. If they stopped competing with others, they would soon begin to realise just how privileged and fortunate they were, but for many, that is never going to happen.
There is almost a mystical lure of the theatrical found in power. It can seep into the veins in the same way as addictive gambling and a lust for money. It is the path of ruination and a place where souls dance in purgatory awaiting their absolution and redemption from the pain and torment of not knowing where their wretchedness is leading them to. There is always a secret thrill in taking a chance. It’s a journey into the unknown and the price for excitement will always be high. Our life is the dice we throw, and where it may land will determine our fate. Every gambler’s dream is to beat chance at its own game. There are winners and losers, the haves and the have not’s, the wise and the foolish and those who consistently throw everything they have down the black hole of nothingness.
Romantic love can be an enigma. Many find it difficult to comprehend what all the fuss is about, but they too must remember that not only is love blind, but that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is no accounting for someone’s choice of what they find beautiful. Forbidden fruit can be like poison haemorrhaging into your soul whilst feeding from the goodness of your very inner being. There is always the question as to whether the recipient of your affections deserves such devotion and dedication, but you will still keep giving even though you know it will all end in tears. People will never truly understand the importance and magnitude of such desire until it happens to them, and when it does, it changes their life forever. Right from the very first moment of meeting you are entering into a game of chance.
It’s not possible beforehand to know what certain people are capable of doing to the innocents. You have to wait for as long as it takes before their masks slip and the bareness of their intentions are revealed. It’s time that rules everything because time is our gambling partner on the opposite side of the table. It holds all the cards of the deck in its hand whilst we are expected to guess the winning sequence of destiny. Do we live, or do we die? It is very dangerous to place your happiness in the hands of another person because there is no painless exit route should they prove to be your nemesis.
There are always difficult decisions to make in intricate or intimate situations. You can either sever people out of your life whilst waiting for your heart to recover or continue to follow them around in the hope that they might change their mind, but they rarely do. Life and love is a gamble and there are always risks to take. The course of true love rarely runs smoothly because nothing is ever as it seems. Forcing someone to take action before they have reached a state of readiness for commitment often spectacularly backfires. So many are fed lies, jilted at the altar, robbed or abandoned. No one truly knows anyone, and if they think they do, then they are fools. There are always hidden sides to everyone, the ones you cannot see until it is too late, and everything is gone and vanished into thin air. For something to succeed, it must be allowed to grow and mature naturally. It’s hard to walk away from a winning streak, but even harder to leave the table when you are about to lose everything. They want one more spin at the roulette table because they love the adrenaline rush of the chase more than the prize.
Sitting in judgment of the things you do not understand is like a game of risk if you are not in possession of the full facts. No one has everything because life is a trade-off. If you don’t have one thing, then you will have another, but no one can have it all. Ultimately, sacrifices must be made, it is the price we pay for entering into such a contractual agreement.
You cannot afford to gamble your youth on a whim because life is precious, short and fragile. Know your true value and worthiness by leading the way towards deliverance alongside your Angels as they forewarn you of hidden dangers. Hell is real, so is love, and both can be survived, but they are also incredible gambles with very high stakes, definitely not for the faint hearted. Keep in mind that there is no sympathy for the devil. Buy the ticket, take the ride, and when the winds of change begin to blow, you must weather the storm, sink or swim, the choice is yours. The only guaranteed thing about luck and good fortune is that one day it will change
