Nothing Can Dim The Light Which Shines Within You

HELLO READERS,

There are wounds that never physically show that can be far deeper and more painful than anything that bleeds. We are made of all those who have built and broken us. We are a light and spirit that can never be extinguished.

Vulnerability is terrifying and it takes great courage to reveal your heart, and yet it can be one of the most powerful and rewarding experiences because releasing your fears can eventually set you free. To survive you must develop physical, spiritual and mental stamina so that when problems arise you don’t make any emotional decisions because they could become your downfall. Think everything carefully through before committing yourself because there is no rush nor urgency. Your steps, no matter how short or small are not insignificant because everything has meaning. Certain things must end so that new chapters can begin. The reward of our work is not what we get, but who and what we become.

Make peace with your past so that it doesn’t damage your present. Time heals almost everything so understand that no one is in charge of your happiness except you. Stop fighting for people who feel nothing about losing your friendship because they are the undeserving. Demonstrate that your detachment means that they are no longer acknowledged. Save your affections for the genuine ones. Some people never learn from the lessons presented before them, so don’t waste your time and breath trying to teach them. Always remember that they know exactly what they were doing even when they pleaded innocence. People think up the most pathetic of excuses whilst underestimating your intelligence. Letting go isn’t easy but not letting go can be the hardest and most painful of all. How long they choose to love you will never be your decision. Keep the ones who heard you when you never said a word. It’s very easy to be different but even more difficult to be better. It may take an Angel to mend a broken heart, but it takes a demon to know where all the shattered pieces are hidden away.

These are the days that must happen to you. You will rise from the ashes, but first you must burn. You are a force to be reckoned with if you go through things alone and emerge stronger. If it is your calling, it will keep on calling you. There is no escaping your destiny.

For the embers of the soul still smoulder,
And it only takes a spark to start an inferno.
