Confidence is knowing who you are and not changing yourself to accommodate someone’s demands and expectations to change. You are not here to please anyone. You are here to fulfil your life path and destiny. Trying to make yourself liked and loveable never works and always ends in tears because no one can keep up an act, a facade, living a lie forever. Eventually, one day, they break out and run free. You are better along than living with the wrong people.
The most intriguing people you will encounter are those who have insights about you and appreciate your worth, the ones who accept who you are and value your friendship. Personality begins where comparison leave off. Be unique, be yourself, become memorable, act with confidence and be proud of who you are and what you have achieved. We are all beautiful in our own way. No two beings are identical, no two fingerprints and DNA are the same. One of the biggest mistakes people make is comparing themselves to others because little do they realise that a lot of the time those same people are themselves lost souls and haven’t a clue as to who they really are or where they are going. Most of the time it’s ‘pot luck’ and never mind the consequences.
You may not be better nor worse than anyone else, but you have your own set of unique gifts and talents that belong exclusively to you because they are your birth right. You possess many abilities that most are seeking and simply cannot find, nor even know exactly what it is they are looking for.
It’s time to wake up and appreciate just how blessed you are. Focus your energies on you, your self-worth and your spiritual development. Stop worrying about what the rest of the world is doing and more especially, the opinions of others. If you look closely, you will notice that it’s other people who are looking towards you for inspiration, guidance and direction whilst admiring and copying your style. People’s homes, gardens and wardrobes are filled with other people’s ideas and inventions.
Everyone has their own life path to follow and some will use their time and gifts wisely whilst others will waste and throw theirs away on the refuse tip of human failure. Most of the time it’s a case of the blind leading the blind and grasping at straws. Life has a way of correcting and equalising itself without any interference from us. The universe has a way of weaving its magic whilst we are sleeping. We listen, we observe and hear whilst absorbing knowledge and information from all around us and hopefully we are developing into good people. When you eventually feel at peace with yourself and accept who you are and what you are capable of achieving, feel happy and secure in the fact that you are special and no one can take you away from you.
People leave imprints on our lives, shaping who we become in much the same way that a symbol is pressed into the page of a book to tell you who it comes from. Our pets, however, leave paw prints on our lives and our souls which stay with us forever. We are all different and that is beautiful. Embrace your weirdness, some will adore you whilst others won’t. Love yourself instead of worrying about what others think, otherwise you will never be happy.
