Some people seem to be more affected and obsessed by the thought of losing something than by the thought of gaining something of equal or greater value. Often, it’s the same ones who endure a great deal of pain or discomfort to chase after what they can’t have or doesn’t belong to them.
Freedoms granted will not be relinquished without a fight. It’s always easier to resist at the beginning of anything than at the end because by then too many emotions are involved and people get hurt by all the confusion and chaos. Influence is one of the most powerful tools that can be used for good or bad and is often the key to attaining many successes or failures. At this stage, perhaps don’t realise it, but the impact you may have on others and in this world is far greater than you could ever imagine possible. The calibre of choices you make will also affect people who follow your example because of their strong faith in your abilities and sound judgment and wisdom . Never again underestimate your capabilities to make good decisions using common sense and intelligence and integrity.
In the grand scheme of things, it can seem inconceivable that any contributions made by you are important, or indeed carry any weight, but you would be surprised how far just one kind word or deed can go, and the difference a smile or acknowledgment can make on those whom you meet along the way. It doesn’t take much to help and enrich the lives of those in need, only kindness and consideration. We have the power to influence certain factors for either better or worse depending upon the circumstances. Everything we do, think and say can ultimately have far reaching effects which could also make or break lives.
Your choices and subsequent actions are like pebbles dropped into still waters causing rippling effects to extend outwardly to places you may never even knew existed. The healing energy you project can become a source of inspiration and great joy to those who are personally struggling with their own private pain. The impact your love and support can have on others can only be described as remarkable, and in many cases, never forgotten, but remembered in people’s hearts and minds for an eternity.
Always do a good turn, never a bad one because the laws of karma decree that whatever we wish for others will inevitably revisit us tenfold. It is far better to spread love, friendship and kindness towards the suffering, lonely, wretched and isolated, in the hope that they feel comforted and helped by it. Words of support, praise and encouragement can work wonders by helping to turn their lives around. Without love, influence is merely transactional and lasts only as long as there is a clear, mutual benefit. After that, it ceases to exist.
The ability to influence people without irritating them is the most profitable skill you can learn. Whether you flounder or flourish is always in your control because you are the one single biggest influence in your own life. Your journey begins with a choice to get up, get dressed and show up, or languishing in a world of laziness and sloth.
Don’t adapt to the energy in a room, be the one to influence it.
Sometimes we need to be reminded that we are capable of achieving than we believe of ourselves. The greater the capacity you have to make a difference, and the power to influence the right people, then magical doors will open in places you least expected possible. One day your life will flash before your eyes, so make sure it’s worth watching. A mind that is stretched by new experiences can never go back to their old dimensions. Sweet efforts are better than sweet words.
The human spirit is far stronger than anything that can happen to it.
