HELLO READERS
Life can be difficult because we are constantly being tested and stretched beyond our limits. Our life blood is constantly being squeezed out of us because of the demands made upon our time, strength and patience. From the very beginning until the end of our days, some of the traumas and pressures we are exposed to are relentless. It’s our transition from infancy to old age which can be the most troublesome. In between all that fuss and bother, the very essence of our life gradually begins to fade away with time as death is inevitable. There are far better things awaiting us over the rainbow than anything we may leave behind, for only then will we find eternal peace.
No one really knows nor understands why they are alive, or for what reason, until they know what or who they would willingly die for, and why? Some people find their true purpose, whilst many waste their time doing very little accomplishing nothing much to talk about. Some live a more privileged lifestyle whilst others struggle to survive. Ultimately, it all comes down to the choices we make and whether or not we are prepared to live with the consequences of our actions.
No one gets out of this place alive, there is no escape. We are all born in the same way, but our destinies are completely different. What is meant for us will not go past us, but in the meantime, it is important to treasure every moment until we take our last breath. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The end is always final.
Happiness and contentment can exist only in the acceptance of what is. For some people the afterlife is the next great adventure. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to try to make the most of every opportunity whilst reflecting with the fondest of memory. But realistically, this is often easier said than done because rarely is anything that straightforward. Everyone has their own story to tell.
The lives of the dead are placed in the memory of the living. Not all pathways are going to be clear cut and easy because there is a price to pay for everything. Certain things we lose have a way of miraculously returning to us, but only if they ever belonged to us in the first place. Death only ends a life, not a relationship, as our love and memories live on in our hearts and minds. But betrayals, dishonesty and negligence cause insurmountable damage destroying our affections and trust as we move forwards to a place of no return.
Our time in this world is limited. Eventually we must all make the journey to the next world as we walk through the darkened veil. No one can confidently say that they will still be alive tomorrow, and nothing can be promised. The goal isn’t to live forever, but to try to create something that will. We spend far too much time chasing and worrying about things that are not worth the time and trouble. Everything of importance will carry on without us. All we can leave behind is our legacy to remind others of our time on this earth. One day our heart and soul will be reunited with loved ones in all eternity, never again to be separated. Always remembered, never forgotten.
‘Life is for the living.
Death is for the dead.
Let life be like music.
And death a note unsaid.
There is a place in the heart that
will never be filled’
‘When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget
Love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone’.
LOVE AND LIGHT,
LINDA AND THE LULAS XXX
