Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers because if there is no challenge to test your abilities and capabilities, you will never learn anything from. Growth happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding whilst living in denial until you are forced to face your reflection in the mirror. Perhaps you wish you could turn the clock back, but then you would not be where you have found yourself today.
Passion is the spark that ignites excitement and action. Until a decision is made, nothing can happen. Some people talk a lot but do very little else. Empty vessels make the most noise. They rattle away incessantly not knowing when to stop, and full of excuses when expected to make a start. If we do nothing that too is a decision, and sometimes they are made for us but one way or another, we cannot avoid our fate.
You are not a victim of this world, but rather the master of your own destiny. It is your choices and decisions that will determine your future success. You will never achieve anything if you live in fear of failure. Always be mindful that there is someone waiting in the sidelines ready to step into your shoes when you are not looking.
In any moment of self-doubt and examining your conscience, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and in some cases choosing to remain silent on matters will force the hand of an opponent. Then you will have an answer to your question. Occasionally, no effort is needed at all.
Rarely does anything work out exactly as expected, and the very best of plans can go awry, but everything happens for a reason. There are times when we all get knocked down, but the secret is to be brave enough to stand up again. Never allow anything nor anyone get the better of you. Most things sound easier said than done, and life can be challenging at the best of times, but if you don’t get over it, you will end up going under it, so it’s important to start digging deep into your reserves of energy and inner strengths to deal with issues as they present themselves.
Every provocation you are confronted with is an opportunity to sharpen your skills and a chance to prove exactly what you are capable of accomplishing once you put your mind to it. There are no free lunches and a price to pay for everything. Often sacrifices or concessions must be made if an agreement can be reached. Never rely on a person who refuses to take accountability for their mistakes because when things go wrong, they will always look for the nearest scapegoat to deflect the blame onto for their own errors of judgment. It’s never their fault, so it must be yours.
Trust your instincts and make judgements on what your heart tells you. It is our choices that show what we are truly made of. What is perceived to be right is sometimes overlooked by what is convenient and appears to be the easier option. Sometimes you will make the right decision, at other times you make a decision that fits into your circumstances. If there is no action, they you haven’t yet found an agreeable resolution. You become an unstoppable force when you realise you can do the most important things alone.
Sometimes it’s the unexpected that can change the course of your life forever, but in the end, it is our choices which make us.
