Rather than turning the page, it’s much easier to just close the old book on the past and start writing a brand-new story called’ My Future’ because there is always a way to begin living again. Being kind to yourself and letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all because this provides you an opportunity to start learning new things and filling your mind with new knowledge and useful information.
When there’s a big disappointment, we often have no idea if that’s the end of the story or just the beginning of a great new adventure. Life is complicated like that, it’s a complete mystery filled with hidden messages, twists and turns and many wonderful gifts. We don’t really know anything for sure because everything is subject to change. We may call something bad, or we call it good, but really, we cannot be completely sure of anything because nothing in this life is guaranteed. Even seasonal situations can bring with them important spiritual lessons that last a lifetime. Never lose heart because if the love for something or someone doesn’t last, for whatever reason, it prepares you for the one that will.
And now, today ,we welcome in the New Year into our hearts, full of magical gifts and promises that have never crossed our pathway. Perhaps you dreamed about escaping your ordinary life and just running away from all the boredom, monotony, stresses and dramas, but your life was never ordinary, you simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was. Your life is precious because it’s the only one you will ever have.
Partings and separations are never easy. It hurts to let go and to say goodbye for the final time and at times it can be even more painful to stay. The sheer agony of it all may even tear your heart out to the point of insanity, but somehow, somewhere in all those tears and grief, you will begin find the pieces of your worth and start re-creating yourself again and your life once more. It’s in that journey of transformation where you will discover the essence of what truly matters. Inner happiness, peace of mind , love and contentment and the realisation that you are not completely alone. No one ever said that life was going to be easy. We all fall at some stage, but it’s up to us to decide how long we want to stay down there.
The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready in wait for you as perfect and as unspoiled as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour of the day if you choose to. The splendid thing about falling apart silently is that you can start over as many times as you like. Realise that if a door remains closed, it’s because what is behind it was not meant for you. Let go of yesterday, for last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. And now let us welcome in the New Year, full of things that never were because the beginning is always today. All great beginnings start in the dark when the Moon greets you to a new day at the bewitching hour of midnight. Every sunset is an opportunity to reset and start over again tomorrow but better than yesterday. You have nothing to fear, so set fire to the broken pieces of yesterday and start anew. Dawn will come, it has no choice A new morning not only forgives, it is prepared to forget, but not before learning important life lessons in order to spiritually grow and evolve along the journey of the soul.

For on the surface, it looks simple,
Like you only need lace your boots,
But there is nothing quite as painful
As untangling your roots.
And proof is found in tree stumps

That they would cut their lives in half
To cut the time before they’re free.
Yet from the little left behind
Life has been known to grow again,
For unless you take your roots
A part of you will still remain’.
We still may have a long way to go but just look how far we have come.
