Be True To Yourself

Hello Readers,

Some people think that the worst thing in life is to end up alone. It’s not. One of the worst things in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone. Being fake in life is going to attract fake reactions from people, fake flattery, fake friends and fake everything. Some people just don’t know how to ‘be themselves’ because they are too busy trying to keep up with everyone else to the point of even copying their lifestyles, mannerisms and often over stretching themselves financially running up huge debts in the mean time until one day they sit and wonder where it all went wrong?

People who are happy with themselves and who have learned to accept ‘who the really are’ tend to take life day by day. They complain very little, are not interested in impressing others and live according to their means. They are thankful for the little things in life. They realise that life is precious and feel free because they are not trapped in their egos. They have nothing to prove and no one to impress, because they are being true to themselves.

It’s inevitable that during the course of your life you will experience may ups and downs. Things in life are bound to knock you down every now and again ,because how else will you be able to learn and master the valuable lessons you must learn in order to grow and develop as a person? It is not the strongest nor the most intelligent who will survive, but those who can manage ‘change’. It is not about being fearless and bragging to the rest of the world about how big and brave you are, it’s about trusting your instincts and acting upon them. Its understanding that tough and difficult times are going to happen and that people will sometimes cause much hurt and grief, but wise enough to know not to use this as an excuse to hurt someone back.

Learn to live comfortably, within your own self, without expecting people to always have to be there at your every beck and call. Learn to love and enjoy your own personal space, but to be aware of little quiet things, you need to be quiet inside. How many times have you been completely lost in your mind worrying about past and future concerns and caused you sleepless nights and unwanted anxiety to the point of feeling exhausted, unwell and at your wits end? Sometimes all you need is you. You just have to believe in yourself. There is no need to search for happiness because it is not lost. It’s around you, inside of you and in front of you. To be truly happy and content with yourself is to be content with what you have been given and make the best of the life you have been given. It’s not what you have been through in life that defines who you are. It’s how you got through it that makes you the person that you are today.

Until Next Week,

Love and Light,

Linda and The Lulas xxx
