Every Day You Are Here Trying Your Best

Hello Readers

Some days you are a goddess or a superhero, whilst others you are still a child. There are times when you are a fragile mess and others where your inner strength shines through radiating positivity for the world to feel your presence. Occasionally you have to ruthlessly cut off the dead branches just to keep the tree alive. It’s hard and it hurts, but very necessary for your sanity and survival. Never stop doing your best just because another person doesn’t appreciate it nor willing to give you credit. It’s their problem, not yours.

Self-care is not about indulging in chocolate cake and luxurious living. It’s more about making a good choice to build a life you don’t feel the need to escape from. Home is where the heart is. The state of your living space reflects the state of your mind. Maybe some of the little things that you consider your weaknesses are the very qualities others admire in you. Perhaps you wish you didn’t wear your heart on your sleeve or care so much. We are all made up differently and the world is big enough to accommodate us all, but we can choose whom we share our love and life with. If you care about what people think of you, you will end up being their slave. Reject their nonsense and pull your own rope. It’s time to stand on your own two feet.

In the space between yes and no, there is a lifetime. It’s the difference between the path you walk and one you leave behind. It’s the gap between who you thought you could be and who you really are and the legroom for the lies you will tell yourself in the future, because people do. At the precise moment when someone underestimates you is when you can and should make a breakthrough and start living your own life. When you make mistakes, do not worry because you are doing better than the people who are not even trying. Some people talk a lot but they don’t do anything. Empty words and false promises.

Perhaps you wish you could’ve learned to play a musical instrument or learned how to draw and paint when you were younger. You wish you could have decided who and what you wanted to be before you quit your education. You wish you could’ve learned to love yourself sooner instead lived a life missing out on some great opportunities. But you know what? You didn’t, and that’s just something you’re going to have to learn to deal with. Just because you didn’t do all those things sooner doesn’t mean you can’t start now. The only person standing in your way is you. It is never too early and never too late to try your best. What you like or what you love will be a great success if you are willing to put the time and effort in. You can’t make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen, otherwise you will scare yourself silly. Your choices are made in a split second and yet their consequences transcend a lifetime. Clean up your mess and try your best each and every day. It gives inner confidence and peace of mind knowing that you had a go against all odds. Nothing is completely impossible, there are just different ways of doing things now than when you were younger. Creating a new pathway is going to be the making of you and your bright shining light is going to irritate a lot of unhealthy people, but shine anyway.

Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for your life to begin and start making the most of the moment you are in.

Try or cry. Choose.

Love and light,
Linda and the Lulas xxx
