Out of the Ashes Beautiful Things Grow

Hello Readers,

Out of the ashes of failing health and heartbreak, discovery and rebirth is born.

Ancient legend paints a picture of a magical bird, radiant, magnificent and shimmering which lives for hundreds of years before it dies by bursting into flames. It is then reborn from the ashes to start a new, long life once again . The symbolism is so powerful that it is a motif and image which is still used commonly today in popular culture and folklore. This bird is the majestic Phoenix.

Circumstances, crushed hopes and new life arises from the ashes of the burned desires. Even if it seems as though your life have been reduced to ashes, hope and faith still persist. New and more powerful life is still possible, so never be tempted to give up. What does not kill you makes you stronger. In other words, if you’re still standing, have been thrown into a crucible of struggle and you still haven’t perished, then you are now a much stronger than before. A person who knows how to survive has experienced the baptism of fire and come through it anyway. Now you all you need is to make that inner strength explicit and obvious to yourself. Dominate the world, but never let the world or others try to destroy you because they will if you let them.

Rest assured that you’re not falling apart. In fact, you are ridding yourself of the pieces that no longer serve your purpose. This procedure this is a surgery of the spirit and it can be painful, but necessary for your spiritual growth and healing.

Your old life is behind you and literally in flames, but you are a magnificent Phoenix and will find a way of rising from the ashes more stronger and formidable than before. How can you rise if you have not burned? You may kill a fire and everything you know falls to dust and ash, yet the remarkable treasure in this seemingly hopeless pile is hidden deep down within your soul. The burning embers incarnate the perpetual desire to go from spark to flame. When the ashes of the wildfire of love have been scattered in the hazy wilderness of oblivion, and emotions and fears have long since faded away, life gets unremittingly tangled up if there are no guardian inner voices to enlighten the looming shadows of hesitant expectation. If there are no shimmering sparks, there is no chance of a resurrection.

‘We rise and our wings are flame.
We rise and our food is air.
We rise and we are heat and we are
light, and we are dark and we
are bright, and we lick the wind
with our thousand fiery tongues.
We rise from the wizard-nation’s wreck.

You cannot mourn the life you haven’t live yet, only one that has already gone.
You will never know the meadows
you could grow, if you are fixated
on the ashes of a garden you never had.
In the end,
Only the true ones stay beside you
while the rest fly away.
As if Life is trying to let you
see the ashes’

There was nothing a phoenix loved so much as heat and the promise of freedom.

Love and light,

Linda and the Lulas xxx
