Storms

Hello Readers,

Once a storm is over, you won’t even know how you managed to get through it, survived this far how strong you truly are until you find yourself back on dry land on the other side. None of us know how tough and resourceful we actually are until life tests us to our limits. One thing is for sure, once the storm is over, we can never be the same again  There is our life before the storm, our battle surviving it and us arriving at our new life afterwards.

Our most basic and power instinct is to look for ways of surviving when faced with adversity, life threatening illnesses, broken hearts, troubled relationships, bereavement, grief and many other challenges that test our strength of character and teach us valuable lessons about who we really are, deep down within our soul and  being. When we are hit with unexpected problems and our world seems to be turning upside down, we are likened to a boat on the ocean, sails battered torn and tattered, sailing into the unknown without a rudder for guidance. When we find ourselves faced with such adversity, we have to hold our nerves and use our minds to steer a steady ship.  People will do amazing things just to ensure their survival. Survivors are not always the strongest or the most intelligent, the ones who are the smartest and can adapt to change knowing that life never stands still and that in order to grow, we have to accept change. We all know how difficult change can be because it means hoofing ourselves out of our cosy comfort zone and getting on with life, often easier said than done, but very necessary.

We live in a world that is beyond our control and is in constant flux of change and the more darker and stormier the weather outside, the more we are tested to see whether or not we are mentally, emotionally and physically equipped to survive what life is throwing at us and if we are smart and emotionally intelligent enough to learn the lessons that we must in order to evolve and move forwards with our lives.  To be the best, you have to learn to handle the worst because there are some things in life that you can only learn through a storm.

The path to tranquillity gets us through the storms.  Never lose hope because storms make people stronger and the good news is, they never last forever, and the greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow followed by the calm.

‘Storms make trees take deeper roots’.

Until Next Week,

Love and Light,

Linda and The Lulas xxx
