Hello Readers,
In case you were unaware, I recently had a terrible injury, whereas I seriously broke my wrist, which resulted in major surgery. As a result it was a struggle to manage to look after my darling Lulas, Talullah and Hilda. My rehabilitation is taking time because there is no quick fix and no short cuts to getting better.
A beautiful Earth Angel extended the hand of friendship in the name of Rebecca Steadman, proprietor of the most wonderful, welcoming doggie paradise called Barkers Boarding , set in the gorgeous countryside village of Hockerton, near Southwell, Notts. NG25 OPJ.
In my hour of need, Rebecca kindly came and collected the psychic poodles from my home and has offered to keep them with her until I have fully recovered.
The Lulas are having a fabulous holiday filled with varied walks around the area and living with Rebecca, in her home, as part of the family, treating them to an all inclusive home from home experience. During their stay they accompanied Rebecca to numerous social events, a birthday celebration and visits to Southwell Minster. She has been kindly sending me daily photos and videos of their adventures, and I now think I must book myself in for a jolly good holiday as part of my convalescence.
We care about our dogs because they are our babies and part of the family, so when going away on holiday, day trips or special occasions such as weddings, christenings, birthdays, shopping excursions etc, it’s reassuring to know that they are in such safe, capable and caring hands and that you can enjoy your day without worrying. Arrangements can be made for guests to leave their pooches in Rebecca’s capable hands for any event.

Rebecca has a very holistic approach to the welfare of her guests. For example, Hilda had a couple of health issues during her stay and Rebecca didn’t hesitate to take both Lulas to the Vets for a check up, with my permission, which immediately put my mind at rest, instantly reassuring me that they were in safe hands. Also, Talullah is a very difficult and picky eater at the best of times and can be extremely stubborn, but Rebecca has managed to overcome this longstanding problem with patience by tweaking her diet, so now she is getting two good full meals into her each day, which is a load off my mind.
The Lulas have received 5 Star treatment and care focusing on their fitness, wellbeing and creature comforts.
If you are seriously looking for somewhere to take your beloved dogs for a great holiday, I cannot recommend Rebecca Steadman of Barkers Boarding highly enough.
