Fools Gold Is Only Valuable To Those Who Are Impatient

Hello Readers,

Too many people live in the past instead of making things better for their future. They fill their heads and pockets with useless, worthless trinkets and stories leaving their hearts and souls empty and emaciated because they have lost sight of what is important. They tend to have selective memories.

All that glitters is not always gold and nothing is rarely as it seems, so don’t be fooled and taken in for a fool either. It doesn’t always pay to be too trusting and willing to take people or situations at face value. A wise, cautious, perceptive person will always stand back and take stock, do their homework, make some enquires and spend time evaluating before committing themselves. A wise person knows that many facts are not put on public display because and that further investigations are needed. There are always reasons why people are the way they are, acting the way they do and behaving towards you and others the way they do. When people respond to a situation with anger, impatience and agitation, its usually because there is more to their story than meets the eye, or what they are prepared to admit to. Behind their rage is a fear of either being hurt or found out, so they would rather push you away than admit to the real truth of what is going on behind the scenes whilst they continue lying to themselves and the rest of the world. Yes, it can cause you to feel somewhat miffed and disappointed, but not necessarily surprised either. Always make a point of reading between the lines whilst people are talking because they will nearly always make a mistake letting important information slip out unintentionally.

Ones life is like a gold mine. You don’t always know who is genuine or what is really valuable, and of course the believability of any story depends on the storyteller. Don’t mistake simplicity for lack of power or weakness. Complexity and drama is fools gold. Fake people are everywhere and can be found lurking around every corner. Their false words and promises are worth nothing, yet so many are willing to be enchanted and taken in by their charms. Real people are rare and worth a fortune in terms of what money cannot buy.

‘Give fools their gold, and knaves their power. Let fortunes’ bubbles rise and fall. Who sows a field or trains a flower or plants a tree is more than all’

(John Greenleaf Whittier. )
