Unseen Love

Hello Readers,

Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is just the beginning of an interesting new journey that can enable you to discover new ways of connecting and understanding both yourself and others. The most basic and powerful way to co exist with another person is to just listen, watch and learn. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. Light will always overpower the darkness.

Love is not something we give or get. It isn’t even something that is guaranteed to all of us. It is something beautiful that we nurture and allow to grow over time. It cannot be rushed. A connection can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them. We can only love others as much as we love ourselves. We may love another so much that it hurts, but we cannot always expect our love to be reciprocated. You cannot force someone to love you.

Spirituality is recognising and understanding that none of us are islands and that everyone needs companionship. We are all connected to each other by a power greater than any of us can ever understand, and that our connection to that power and to one another is grounded and nurtured in friendship, love and compassion. We are all so much together and yet, at times, so far apart, yet deep down within ourselves we are all dying of loneliness. Few people recognise nor understand the true meaning of this because on the surface, everything seems alright. Some people try to fool others by hiding behind masks, and do a good job of it.

People leave traces of themselves where they feel most comfortable and most appreciated. People cannot be just tied together forcibly. There has to be a special connection otherwise they will find themselves bound hand and foot to unsuitable individuals and situations that are totally wrong for them.

There is no perfection, only beautiful versions of brokenness, so reach out and touch someone’s heart with your love and show them you care, but only if you really mean it.
