Direction

Hello Readers,

Lack of direction, not time is the problem. We all have 24 hours in our day, but it’s down to us how we choose to live our life and how we choose to use our time.

If you do not know where you come from, then you don’t know where you are. If you don’t know where you are, then you don’t know where you are going, and if you have no idea where you are going, then your life lacks direction and a goal to aim for. You can spend so much time reacting and responding to other people and their demands that in the end your life has no direction and very little value.

It’s only when we are suspended in mid air with no landing in sight that our wings are forced to unravel to take control of our flight. Sometimes the slightest things can change the direction of our lives. There merest breath of a circumstance, a random moment that connects like a meteorite crashing into our world can change our life forever. Lives have twisted and turned on the strength of a chance meeting or a remark, so nothing is fixed in stone and nothing can last forever. Everything is in a state of change and decay.

If you choose to bask in someone else’s shadow , to rest and cool down and you are lost, then no one nor anything can make you happy. What and who you are and where you are headed should provide enough clarity about where you have been and which direction you must go in next. It’s a mistake to think that going fast is the same as actually going somewhere.

In this life, wherever you go, do it with all your heart and always do what makes you happy and try to avoid intentionally hurting others in the process. When you find yourself standing in a storm, have no fear of being blown away, just adjust your sails and point yourself in a new direction.
