Somewhere Inside The River There Is An Unfinished Story

HELLO READERS

Sometimes you have to make a decision that will break your heart but will help you to survive. Often, we are hesitant to heal because our pain is the last link to what we so tragically lost. Although you may be struggling, you are also in the midst of conquering your demons. Your story is written is somewhere in the silence of all those unspoken words and must always be honoured and remembered. Not all that seems to be lost is lost because there is a reason for everything. What is meant for you will not go past you. Even though times can be seriously testing, have faith that your angels are working hard on your behalf. Take the scenic route so that you can appreciate life a little more before making your way back home. Don’t forget to acknowledge your victories, pushing just shy from the edge of insanity. You rose from out of the ashes just when your adversaries thought your soul was their own private playground. If you love hard, that is what makes it all worth it. If trauma can be passed down through the generations, then so can healing.

Sometimes there is a need to spend time alone, avoiding small talk and getting dragged into other people’s dramas. Understand people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words. Spending time nurturing yourself and resting is never a waste of time or energy. As you are emotionally and spiritually mature, you will no longer be so willing to wait for others to accept nor deny you. Observe other people clinging to the edge of despair waiting for a sign that they are part of some group or private members club. They hope their face fits whilst embracing that false sense of security which dissolves immediately once they are snubbed, obviously surplus to requirement, but still they sit and wait out in the cold waiting to be invited in to once again mingle with the shallowest of creatures. If you spend too long in a bad situation, you will forget how detrimental it is to your wellbeing whilst the best years of your life and golden opportunities quietly slip away. People will either inspire you or drain you, so choose your companions wisely. It’s important to know the difference between patience and wasting your time.

Life is not measured by length, but by depth. Often you can find something good without even looking for it. Be someone who makes another person look forward to tomorrow. Always leave them better than when you found them. Always do your best and remain true to yourself.

‘To you today my friend,
I send to you good thoughts.
In person I do not see you,
But with heart & soul I do.
Across the miles that are,
Today I send you a hug.
Friends we will always be,
No matter what the future.
So with this written poem,
Know, I’ll always be your friend.
And if I should hear from you,
It shall put a smile upon my face.
We are never face to face,
Nor are we one on one.
Just know this every day,
For here I will always be.
Whether it is during the day,
Or under twinkling starlight.
What truly matters in the end,
Is in the heart and soul.
Have a seat with me now,
And pour yourself a cup.
Enjoy the day that is for now,
Whiling away the daily hours.
Laugh at all the funny things,
And do not despair the sad.
For now I send you a hug,
And a smile across the miles.
And today I’ll give my thanks,
For a dear friend, just like you’.

Love and light,
Linda and the Lulas xxx
