Winners Make The Effort, Losers Make Excuses

Hello Reader

Success in life is not for those who run the fastest but for those who keep on running and are always on the move. Wisdom is an abstract word not seen in words, but in actions and deeds. Winners and losers are clearly distinguishable because the winner is always part of the answer, whilst the loser is always part of the problem. A winner makes commitments whilst losers make excuses. This is why only winners can make good decisions because they value and believe in themselves whereas losers tend to panic and back track, constantly changing their mind always looking for reassurances, yet not willing to work hard for their achievements.

Destroy the defeat factor in your mind and you will overcome a great obstacle and burden.

There is a saying that quitters never win, and winners never quit, but this is not always necessarily true in all cases.  Winners quit the right thing at the right time and some quitters never even get started. It’s usually all talk and false promises. The key to winning is knowing that you cannot be all things to all people or everything to everyone, and when you try to do everything for everyone, they don’t always appreciate your kindness and efforts, risking you facing total burn out if you don’t get a grip of the situation and re-prioritise.  Some of the most important things to quit are friendships and relationships that no longer foster a positive environment, tasks that don’t produce fruit nor benefit your needs in any way and those which undermine and devalue your worth.

Nothing else will show a person’s true character than how they lose. Your greatest adversity is always your next opponent. If you never play the game, you will never know what you have missed. You can win a game before you have even played because everything is in the mindset. Often, what you gain from losses is sometimes greater than what you gain from certain wins. It’s time to overcome everything that could potentially destroy you by taking control of your life and setting down some good, firm boundaries that send out a clear message as to your intentions and position.

‘To fly strong with broken wings, to wax eloquent with but a pinch of words, to race into hearts and history with one leg less is to be perfect in defect, the highest perfection under heaven.
It is in vain to stop a star from rising, even with a ladder because it’s easier to wrestle minds than to conquer’.

‘Do winners know they are winning?
Do losers know they have lost?
Do the middle think they are on the up?
Are they prepared to pay the cost?
Perspective though is important
As even losers can feel like winners
Most of the winners I know of
Look less like saints and
A lot more like sinners.’
