Seeking Reassurances

Hello Readers,

At various times in our lives we all need to know we are on the right track. No matter what our position is, we all need love, support and reassurances that we are doing things positively and heading in the right direction.

No matter who you are or what your status in life may be, life has not always been plain sailing nor easy, you probably just made it look that way and so others often mistakenly believe that you have got it made and that you are the lucky one when in reality there is nothing further from the truth. Even when you may be struggling with something that is very important, there will always be someone who has to make a sly comment or compare themselves with you to both make themselves feel better and superior and to cause you to seriously doubt yourself and your progress for a few moments.

This is also an important point where you really begin to see people for what they truly are and also realise just how strong, resolute and determined you are in your desire to reach your goal. Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it, so do not get despondent when ignorance and negativity show themselves. They have got the problem, not you. Everything in this life is constantly changing, some things quicker than others, but neither must you ever give up hope because that will only depress you, so if you just sit there paralysed with fear, life will eventually run past you and leave you behind, so it’s not worth it. The river is constantly turning and bending so you will never know where it’s going or where you will end up, but one thing is for sure, a river only flows in a forward direction, it never reverses and goes backwards, just as our own lives do. Trust in your journey, you will know when you are on the right track when you start to lose interest in looking over your shoulder in a backwards direction and always follow your heart because only you know what is good and works for you.
