It takes nothing to join in with the crowd and run around in circles getting nowhere fast. The biggest moment is putting your faith in the hands of the devil because that never ends well. It takes everything to stand alone and not feel fragile nor intimidated by the bored and restless and their sniping criticisms. Although we are always amongst them, we don’t have to be like them, and the secret is to revolt against them.
To live peacefully you must excuse yourself from the presence of shallow and callous minded individuals leaving them to their own devices. Never allow any negativity nor ugliness enter your surroundings, or to consent to having your confidence destroyed. It is very usual for ugly weeds to fear standing alone because they are uncomfortable with being alone with themselves, so if they are going down, they will try to take you and everyone else down with them. Associate with more positive minded individuals whom you share more common interests with and instantly you will feel so much better.
If you truly want to be respected and revered, then you must show that you are strong, capable, resourceful and independent when questioned or compromised. Wiser still, remain silent because this is your strongest weapon because then they can only argue with themselves. You are more than capable of surviving without people who have previously failed you and been the cause of so much upset. Always remember that you were previously alone, and that some of the people you currently associate with are just as unnecessary now as they were before you even knew them. Once you step away, you will discover that it is they who need you more rather than a case of you needing them, for anything.
Never over invest your time and energy in other people to the point where you lose your identity and common-sense flies through the window, otherwise there will be a very high price to pay when you least expect. When you are able to stand apart from anything that threatens to bring you down, it is then when you are at your most powerful.
Clarity can only be achieved by separation and time alone with your thoughts. All the answers you seek are already there, within your own soul. All you must do is connect with them. A display of indifference will allow you to elevate away from disturbances because it’s the act of letting go that actually gives you a stronger grip and hold over your affairs. Possessions themselves are not the problem, it’s a person’s relationship with them that gives them such importance. If we co depend on anything outside of ourselves for support, we are going to feel unsteady insecure and out of control. Detachment doesn’t mean that you should own nothing, or be friendless, but to protect yourself from predators. It’s possible to be apart from something and still care about it. It’s about having the freedom to explore various aspects of what interests you together with making the most of your life and every opportunity granted to you. Stand up for your beliefs and always keep your faith because your angels will never desert you. They walk by your side even when you have forgotten about them.
Your most precious and most valued possessions are worthless, and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible. No one can steal, buy nor sell them. You alone are responsible for your own happiness and the choices you make. Only the self-sufficient can stand on their own two feet because most other people choose to follow the crowd and imitate. They have no good ideas of their own, so they will copy and imitate others.
Never be afraid of being alone because a lion does not rule the jungle with sheep by its side.
