EXCUSES ARE MERELY USED TO BUILD A DOORWAY TO FAILURE

HELLO READERS

Some people tend to care and be influenced by the opinions of others, whilst there is that craving to look and sound good despite not always believing any of what they are saying themselves. They are constantly seeking external validation because they don’t wholeheartedly accept who they are. They crave attention, compliments, reassurances and guarantees where there are none in existence. All moments are fleeting, they evaporate into thin air without substance, even recollection.

When people are not ready, or too fearful to take responsibility for anything, they make excuses and slump down into the blame game, joining the rest of them. Nothing is ever their fault. Granting them an exemption gives them a way out whilst overpassing making any kind of effort or contribution. Making a case to get out of a situation may suffice momentarily, but in the long term it rarely ends well as they start to lose credibility. They don’t want to face up to reality, tending to shrug off accusations whilst arguing the point.

The only thing standing between you and your goals are the pathetic stories you keep telling yourself as to why achievements are impossible. The trouble with replaying the same tales of woe and victimhood is that they inevitably become difficult to believe. The impact of their desire to clear up any confusion is lost in translation because people lose faith and interest in their behaviour. Success and accomplishments are not always as easy to achieve as they may look or sound, but neither are many of them as hard to accomplish as some losers may believe. An archer must never blame a target for missing it. It’s all a matter of giving a project your best shot and the chance to work out positively.

When someone tells something isn’t possible, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it, it simply means you are not going to do it with them. Nothing in this world can take the place of passion, determination and persistence because there are no shortcuts to anywhere or anything worth having. People who lack foresight, courage or the self-belief to pursue their own dreams will always try to destroy yours because they resent your ability to succeed. As you strive towards self-improvement, not everyone will be automatically happy for you, but don’t let their apathy affect your progress. Remaining strong, stoic and stalwart in any situation is a decision that is available to everyone. They either want to do something, or they don’t. Never allow yourself to become enslaved to others, otherwise you will never be free of them.
Your determination will provide you with a purpose, putting you in the driver’s seat. If you start to lose interest or make feeble excuses as to why you can no longer pursue a certain path, change your direction and start again. A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic, it takes a lot of hard work. You may be the only person who believes in your abilities, but that is enough. Even those people of mediocre tastes can sometimes achieve outstanding success because they don’t know when to quit, so they just keep going, plodding on, overcoming obstacles undeterred. It’s the constant and positive resolve in a person that slowly breaks down negativity.
Everyone tells you not to worry because someone, somewhere will do something, but they rarely do. It’s all empty words and thinly veiled promises that lead to nowhere.

Always remember that to rush and gush into animated explanations and excuses are the signs of a weak character. Just like crying wolf, if you keep looking for sympathy without changing your attitude, you will eventually be left standing alone at a time when you really needed some help. Success requires no explanations whilst failure permits no alibis.

Love and light,
