EVEN THE SMALLEST ACT HAS REPERCUSSIONS

HELLO READERS

Inconsequential are the things we do, so we must be prepared to take personal responsibility. So often small mistakes can have such long, far reaching repercussions from which there can be no recovery. In hindsight, if we knew where we went wrong before we acted, we would have made different choices, but by then it is too late, the damage had been done, and the scars are there to remind us. If only we could return back to the beginning? Wishful thinking.
They say a picture can paint a thousand words, but photographs reveal only a small part of the real story about anyone. People smile and pose for the camera, but none of it is true. It’s all an illusion designed to fool the audience. Never judge a book by its cover. Rarely is anything as it seems because life isn’t that simple. There is a price to pay for everything.

Take some time to reflect consider your options and actions. Sometimes the most destructive outcomes in our lives are the ones that we have created ourselves by our own choices. People throw rocks not knowing where they are going to land and the damage they might cause. All the thoughts and words you speak are made up of energy which will affect the outcome of your plans. Every beginning is a consequence of a previous ending, and each new beginning will always end something. And so, the circle of life keeps turning.

You can’t plant an apple pie and expect to get an orange tree. The consequences of your future are sown in what you do and how you behave at any given moment. . Sooner or later, we must all sit down to a banquet of consequences which are the result of our actions. Eventually they will outlive the same choices you could live to regret later, but by then it’s too late because the past cannot be changed. We will either reap a good harvest, or we won’t.

Surprises can and do happen when we least expect them to. They usually arrive as a result of misjudging people, taking them at face value. Not everyone you meet will be genuine. Most of the unexploded bombs and mines lying in wait in the minefields of our life were planted by choices we should have never made whilst we were situated in places we should have never been in the first place. Perhaps the things we are losing are the very same things that have caused our downfall, and yet we cling onto them praying for a glimmer of hope that they might somehow miraculously change. Life is a gamble. We pay our money and take our chances.
It can be frustrating repeatedly telling people about the destructive consequences of their choices. Eventually you will find these very same individuals standing in the midst of all the drama they caused screaming at the top of their voices that everything is going to be just fine. They rant and rave trying to convince themselves that they are right and everyone else is wrong. They have much to learn.

You reap what you sow, make your bed and lie on it, choices and consequences. These sayings are all very true because Karma is the universal law of cause and effect’. Everything you do and say combined with the choices you make will eventually revisit, often taking you by surprise.

There are no short cuts just as nature cannot be rushed. Always remember to tend, nurture and count your blessings rather than practice negligence. Sow an act and reap a habit. Sow a habit and reap a character. Sow a character and reap a destiny. A plant doesn’t blossom to anyone’s demands, so patience and tolerance is needed.

Today will be the yesterday that you created, one which you will either celebrate or regret. The only reason that our choices come back to bite us is because we gave them teeth.
