Don’t give up when dark times come. The more storms you face in life, the stronger you’ll be. The more challenges and adversities you overcome, the happier you will be.
Develop strength, not to be greater than others, but to defeat your greatest enemy which are the doubts you harbour deep down within your heart. You probably have talents or skills that you don’t feel especially confident about, but may finally win you the praise and accolades that are well deserved once you start believing in yourself more. Don’t doubt yourself for a moment and neither retreat from any attention and praise that is deserving of you. Let this be a lesson that you should never do yourself the injustice of underestimating yourself or allowing others to disrespect you.
The next time you feel insecure about something, take a reality check by realising and accepting that you are as good as the next person. No one has the right to judge you, including yourself. The more confident you become, the more opportunities will make themselves available to you including the right types of people who belong in your life.
People are mostly impatient. Nothing happens as quickly as we want them to. Many are easily discouraged and slip back into their old habits and learnt behaviour because it’s more comfortable and easier that way. Risking remaining in a known comfort zone isn’t venturing forwards with the intention of learning new things. It’s about allowing self-doubt to dominate your thinking and depriving you of a new and better life.
There could be a person in your life who you look up to and respect, perhaps see as a mentor. This could be someone you have turned to for advice and guidance in the past . You may be looking for their approval and making sure that they are satisfied with you. Somehow , over time you have got used to making choices based on their opinions, but if you are to survive and stand on your own two feet, your next move and subsequent upcoming decisions should be made by you alone without any external influences otherwise you will never develop a mind of your own. It’s about taking personal responsibility for your own choices. All the answers you are looking for are already there, within your soul. All you need is to listen to the inner self and understand what it is that you are searching for.
Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel down and broken. They are aware of your innocence when you feel guilty and deeply troubled and your purpose when you are all at sea and confused about life.
Believe in your infinite potential. Your only limitations are those you set upon yourself. Have more confidence about yourself, your abilities and your own potential. Never let self-doubt hold you captive. You are worthy of all that you dream of, hope for and more besides. Don’t let others tell you what you can and can’t do. Never again let the limitations of others limit your vision and disturb your peace. If you can remove your self-doubt and become your own best friend, you can achieve what you once never thought possible. A friend is not the shadow that mimics you, but the one who casts all shadows away. If you have knowledge, let others light their candles at it. Always reach for the stars even if you only hit the roof tops.
