Your Worth Has Nothing To Do With Others’ Opinions, So Shine Away

Hello Readers,

The only thing that is ultimately real about your journey is the step that you are taking at this very moment because now is all there ever is.  Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on. If your dream is to find a star, stop looking at the ground.

If money and material things make you believe you are better than others, then you are the poorest person on Earth. If there is a wanting for something or someone to make you happy, this is a guaranteed way of creating a sense of lacking and misery within yourself. Happiness and inner peace is found internally, not externally. All the answers you are seeking are already there, deep inside your soul. All you must do is look for them. Anyone who causes you to lose your cool is making you aware that you must address your own thoughts and emotions. Other people’s actions are the result of their pain, not yours. A person who is empty on the inside must decorate themselves and wear a mask on the outside. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place. As soon as you honour what is causing you unrest, unhappiness and struggle begin to dissolve. All misery comes from not facing up to reality and living in perpetual denial. Suffering is not holding you back , but you alone are holding onto the suffering. Only when you do not know yourself will the opinions of others matter so much. When you compete with no one, neither can they compete with you. There will always be someone to love the parts of you that others didn’t know how to, so have faith.

Everything passes. No one gets anything for keeps and that is how we have to live. To be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid. Everything must be accounted and paid for because there are no free lunches.
