You can wait for others to decide your fate, or you can master your own destiny. Just know that others seldom have very much planned for your future happiness, so the independent approach to self-sufficiency and survival may just be your best bet. If you don’t monitor your life, you will regret it. If you don’t measure your growth, you will never know how much you have progressed. It’s important to remain in charge of your agenda. Life’s trials will test and shape you, but don’t let them change or destroy who you are.
How different would your life be if you stopped allowing other people to dilute or poison your day with their words, false promises or opinions? stand strong in the truth of your beauty and journey through your life without attachment to the validation of others. Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed. Truth hurts, but what challenges also makes you stronger. Those who achieve the extraordinary are usually the most ordinary because they have nothing to prove to anybody. They just get on with it.
True friends don’t come with conditions. If you spend all your time thinking about how someone is going to put you down or compete with you , it’s difficult to put your best foot forward. If they are deliberately trying to trip you up, remove yourself and give them a wide berth. Not everyone will join you on your life quest for happiness. Initially they’ll only dislike what you say, but the more correct you start sounding the more they’ll resent you. The person whose opinion that counts the most in your life is the one looking back in the mirror at you every day. You are the one to please, never mind all the rest. Most people are reflections and imitations of other people. Their thoughts and actions are often someone else’s opinions. Their lives are a mimicry and their passions a quotation. Their identity is flawed.
If someone isn’t what others want them to be, they become angry, awkward and difficult. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about their own. Rarely will they admit to their mistakes or offer an apology. What other people say and do has nothing to do with you and everything to do with how they perceive what is happening through their own interpretation. So what they say is their opinion of reality, not yours. Never take their judgments personally because most of the time they haven’t a clue what they are talking about. Strive only to live your life in alignment with your own values, integrity, and worth. You matter, so you get to decide.
You don’t have social anxiety. You are probably surrounded by the wrong people. The entire time you go around thinking that something is wrong with you, but it may just be that the people around you are toxic or do not align with your energy frequencies. Always be very careful who you let into your inner sanctum.
Dig deep into your reserves of energy and be the strongest and most courageous person you know.
