A guaranteed way to fail is to try to please others, especially the undeserving ones who will take advantage of your kindness and generosity without offering anything in return. There is a very fine line between trying to please others and making sure that your own needs are being met. Your need for acceptance can work disadvantageously, especially if you don’t put any firm boundaries in place. As you will notice, some people are full of expectations.
Never again let anything obscure the warm light that radiates from your soul outwardly to the rest of the world. Be seen in all of your glory, because you are enough, even if the ignoramuses are oblivious to that fact. The blind will always lead the blind. People strive to please others whilst seeking validation, but despite that, they still don’t feel as though they belong or good enough because they are playing to the wrong audience. It’s not because others won’t accept you readily, but because they haven’t yet managed to accept yourself. Never compare yourself to others because you don’t know the whole of their stories. Behind those outward appearances of having, it all, in reality, most of them have nothing.
Trying to please others can be the worst experience ever. Please one person, to a certain degree, and you will spend the rest of your life trying to please the rest. Don’t kid yourself, they won’t appreciate it, they never do. They will make use of you before discarding you without a backward glance. If you don’t take control of your life, eventually your willpower to serve and pacify will lead to burnout resulting in feelings of resentment and unfulfillment.
Always choose to evolve mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Incredible changes and miracles often occur when you decide to start being true to yourself, believing strongly in your own gut instincts. The most useful and precious asset a person can have is not always material wealth, but to display inner confidence and peace of mind and heart. Anyone who quietly demonstrates credence and reliability suddenly becomes an interesting person to connect with. It is not the happy people who are thankful, but the thankful people who are happy with their lot. They are grateful just to be alive and for small mercies. You can be affected by external events, but never allow yourself to be reduced to nothingness. When you are content to be simply yourself, only then will you appreciate that it is beautiful to be different.
People only treat you one way, the way you allow them to.

They can talk about you

Disappointments I guess
