What lies behind you, and what lies in front of you, pales into insignificance when comparing to what lies within you. Ensure that your goals are not measured alongside the achievements of others, or you will begin to lose faith in yourself.
Your growth and progress will baffle and expose those who are floundering and wasting their precious time whilst your authenticity will instil fear into those who continue to hide behind masks. This is because it’s natural for polar forces to confront one another, triggering off a chain reaction of emotions, forcing people to closely inspect their intentions and sincerity. Everything we say, think, do and desire is mirrored back at us. We are constantly staring at our own reflections by how we see ourselves in any given situation, like attracts alike, so notice that similar types congregate together. If something or someone is not operating on a similar frequency to us, we can feel repelled by their very existence. Alternatively, where there is harmony and balance, we instinctively feel happier and more comfortable. You have nothing to fear nor prove to anyone. It’s far better to stand alone than be mistakenly judged as being the same as the undesirables. When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t feel the need to compare or compete, the very best of you will be there for all to see.
Love is the total absence of fear. There is no comparison between that which is lost by not succeeding, and that which is lost by not trying. When you hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ be tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?’ Their answers, or lack of them will be interesting if not entertaining.
Put light against light and you have nothing. Put dark against dark and you also have nothing. It’s the contrast of light and dark that each give the other meaning.
Never again compare yourself with others because it’s a complete waste of time and energy. Most problems are always caused by the inconsistencies of others. Always choose your battles wisely. Refuse to engage with people who deliberately attempt to bring you down. Never chase, envy or wish to be like someone else. The grass is never greener on the other side. You may be surprised how many people wish they were more like you. No one’s life is perfect because that is an unrealistic assumption. Everything has its flaws, and it is our imperfections which make us uniquely beautiful.
You soul is empowered, powerful, and unstoppable in the face of adversity and challenging times. Your very existence is what makes you incomparable. Don’t underestimate the influence you may have upon other people as they continue to watch, copy and imitate you. See it all as a compliment because you obviously have something that they want. Success begins where comparisons end.
Comparison is the guaranteed slippery slope to jealousy.
