Faith is an important and integral part of our everyday life. From a very early age we are taught that keeping our faith when facing problems and challenges can help us to overcome anything. Keeping our faith alive together with hope and a positive outlook enables to us remain motivated and buoyant whilst encouraging us to keep going whenever they feel hopeless, broken and desperately unhappy. Faith and hope are what we cling to when all else is lost. We all need a glimmer of hope to stay alive, and sometimes miracles do happen.
A sense of belonging starts with self-love and total acceptance of what and who we are. Believing that you are enough is what gives you the strength and courage to be authentic, vulnerable and yet beautifully imperfect along with all your other wonderful qualities and attributes. It is about remaining true to yourself despite the scepticism and lack that is often so evident in others. Irrespective of your background and origin, an invisible power is always present whilst guiding and protecting you, offering reassurances that you are on the right spiritual path. The universe will lead you to where you must go because that is your destiny. You have the strength and wherewithal to overcome your weaknesses and failings whilst being blessed with the vision and wisdom to know that everything you endure is for a good reason. The strength and resolve of your unwavering faith that all things are possible will help you during your darkest times.
Perhaps you feel like you have wandered alone forever, forgotten and abandoned having suffered many heartbreaking losses whilst falling apart where the glue holding you together has slowly dissolved. Sometimes there is no one there to help pick up the pieces, so you must make the best of it. Without experiencing both good and bad times, we will never know the difference between dark and light. The solitary path we must walk into the unknown may appear very bleak and unwelcoming, but there is no way back because the past is finished. What is done is done and tomorrow is another day.
Others may misunderstand your intentions as you endeavour to make sense of everything that’s happened whilst restructuring your life, yet at the same time you may feel as though part of you is slowly fading away unnoticed. Perhaps you can barely hold yourself together, or even speak, even so, you must carry on regardless. When you fall and hit the ground hard, the shock can be unbearable, but you will find grace in your wounds and a version of yourself that you never even knew existed until now.
Sometimes we must learn the hard way that the love and acceptance you were searching for all this time is actually the same love you never learned to give to yourself. You were drowning in a world of what might have been, whilst clutching at anything and everything that came your way. There is nothing more deadly than the wave of the unexpected which you cannot see. Control your responses and the negativity that threatens to destroy your peace, otherwise it will consume you. Reset, restart and focus as many times as is necessary. You don’t need to explain yourself nor justify your existence to anyone.
Life isn’t a rehearsal; every day is precious. Be happy with exactly where you are presently and make the absolute most of each opportunity because there are no second chances. When the day is done, it is over forever. Stop hiding your magic because the world is ready for your brilliance and star quality. Understanding your path is the key to your happiness.
Don’t be afraid of the world ending one day because it has already ended for many people one way or another, and yet afterwards they started again with nothing until they rebuilt something as a symbol of their faith.
