There is nothing worse than harbouring ambitions yet lacking the courage and confidence to proceed with your plans to making your dreams become a reality. Self-doubt can force you to question your own sanity and ability to keep going forwards. It restricts your growth to a point where you may never realise your true potential. The only limits that exist are the ones you place on yourself, and if you believe everything other people say, then even their despondency will finally get to you.
Refuse to pay attention to menacing voices that have the power to infiltrate your confidence, thus creating pain, frustration and paralysis when making decisions. Never fall into the trap of letting others tell you what you can or cannot do. They are not walking your path nor even part of the bigger picture. Criticism is nothing more than just someone else’s opinion. Only you know what is best for you. Even people who are experts in their field can sometimes get things very wrong. There are always cases of misdiagnosis together with errors of judgement causing more trouble than most other things.
One of the reasons you doubt yourself so much is because you have probably never appreciated just how brilliant, brave, talented and beautiful you actually are. Neither have ever witnessed yourself breaking world records, nor being placed in the spotlight receiving a standing ovation for all your achievements. It is likely that you have turned offers or proposals down whilst declining opportunities because you didn’t believe that you were good enough. You couldn’t understand why you were chosen over others? Occasionally opportunities come around again in the form of a second chance. As a result, you may start to question your assumptions and beliefs from that time in the past when you wondered how your life might have turned out had you made different choices? Perhaps you are filled with regrets over things that were never meant to happen to you because they were not part of your destiny? You did what you did for a reason, so it’s always important to keep this in mind when you are experiencing moments of anxiety or melancholia or languishing in self-pity. Sometimes a selective memory only recalls certain aspects, but there are always other features and elements to consider before getting carried away with delusional fantasies. You are encouraged not to entertain thoughts about how things might have been, should have been, but never were, but to enjoy the present because the now is all we have at any given moment time.
Believe in yourself and your abilities, never again allowing yourself to fall into such a miserable slump. You are worthy of all that you rightfully deserve. Pray for the strength and wisdom not to necessarily be greater than others, but to fight your worst enemy which is the self-imposed destructiveness you are capable of creating during your darkest hour. It’s time to shake off negativity and start being your own best friend.
Believe in yourself even when no one else does. Seek the strength to overcome the doubts that poison every chance of your happiness and success.
