Every relationship you encounter and engage with is a reflection of your personality and the frequency you are operating on in that moment. Everything that shows up in your life has purpose and a significance. Pay attention to what these experiences are trying to teach you. You hold the keys to your own success; you always have but they mean nothing unless you learn how to use them.
Knowing your worth impacts on everything you see, feel and touch. How you view yourself is the very foundation of understanding the world around you whilst developing self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Without comprehending the complexities of your character, you will never be free to pursue ways of growing, evolving and expanding your intellect. If you cannot be true to yourself, you will always remain a slave to another master. There is no law that requires you to fit into any other groups or stereotypes, never run with the nearest crowd, instead, stand back and watch how they interact with one another. The more unavailable you become, the more fascinating you will become to them.
Style and class possess an aura of influence and power which demonstrates calm self-assurances and a quiet dignity which cannot be found amongst the loud, brash hysterical types. It bears no resemblance to fame, money and material wealth. It never cowers nor avoids responsibility. Displaying excellence is a portrayal of self-discipline, stoicism and sheer elegance that comes with being revered in gentle society. The only person who can destroy all that good is you. If there are no solid boundaries in place, you will undoubtedly be bulldozed into submission by buccaneers and rampant predators just so that you comply with their wishes, however ridiculous.
You can never be lonely if you like the person, you are alone with, which is yourself because after all, you are stuck with yourself forever. Some people don’t necessarily want to be alone but prefer to be left alone for their own personal reasons. Self-talk reflects your inner most feelings. The brain believes everything you tell it, so choose your dialogue wisely and always be careful about what you wish.
If a partnership isn’t working, you will instinctively know. It is when you start being less than perfectly honest and earnest in your dealings with others that problems arise. When the things you do with others no longer fulfil a deeper purpose or understanding, then it is time to part company. You are not an option, a choice or a soft place for others to land on after a long-embittered battle. You were always meant to be the one, but perhaps you have allowed yourself to be relegated to the bottom of the pile and abandoned. Once you accept that you are someone deserving of love and respect, then you will stop excusing the bad behaviour that threatens to destroy everything you cherish. Never offer your friendship too readily because If love, trust, respect and honesty isn’t given freely, then it is not worth having.
Individuals who continue learning will keep rising above ignorance and wretchedness. We are all here to explore, create and experience. When we stop our own personal development, we quickly begin to spiral down into a pit of nothingness. Many people start operating in reverse gear desperately attempting to recreate the past, but to no avail because those times are gone. If we truly loved and embraced ourselves, and accepted our position without too much resistance, we would discover new ways of escaping our mental and emotional prisons.
Once you understand what you are trying to achieve, then transformation follows. As long as you seek others to validate your identity by begging for their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster and disappointment. You have to know who you are, despite the irrelevant opinions of others. One of the greatest mistakes is accommodating the undeserving who harbour no regrets, regard for others and worse still, nothing to offer.
Somewhere the midst of darkness you will discover that invincible strength needed to survive. After that, no matter how hard adversity pushes against you, your brave heart will endeavour to fight back to regain position. It is so important to take time for yourself and find clarity. Try turning your attention towards a place you dare not look because there you will find your reflection staring back at you. This has nothing to do with weakness and everything to do with strength.
We choose to walk away not because we want others to realise our worth and value, but because we finally realise ours.
