HELLO READERS
Sometimes on your journey through hell, you will encounter some very strange and weird characters who are convinced they are in heaven because of their cleverness and ability to get away with their scheming without getting caught. They love the buzz of living life on the edge taking risks that no other sane person would consider doing. They thrive on excitement and quick fixes lacking warmth and empathy. They will try to destabilise you to make themselves feel better. Welcome to the world of the entertainment where the spoilt and brash believe they are entitled to the best of everything. When life isn’t gone to plan, they feel short changed, and in the next breath they are busy planning their next big adventure, but you are not invited. You are not like them. Neither are you destined to remain stuck in eternal hell to keep them company. You were born for greatness, not to be forgotten whilst smouldering on the ashes they are keeping alive.
Rest assured that the opportunists will have an army of people behind them who are just as disillusioned, angry and embittered. Deep down they want you to feel isolated and desperate because this justifies and validates their behaviour and reasons for starting riots and rebellion. They project their negativity because it is they who fear ending up with nothing. Refuse to join in their pity parties and continue minding your own business. Those who constantly criticise reveal what they themselves are sadly lacking. There will always be someone willing to injure, demoralise and gossip about you in just the same way as they do others, but it is themselves they are lacking. There are no exceptions to the rule.
Distance yourself from anything and anyone who doesn’t understand nor appreciate your worth. With every move you make your opponents will have their opinion. They enjoy pouring cold water over your ideas, objecting strongly whilst creating as many problems as possible. They deliberately oppose to cause harm and self-doubt. Instead of being happy for you, they raise their eyebrows despairingly speaking in demeaning tones. They always have to have the last say. They want to impress, always claiming to be right, even when they are wrong. People tend to walk around them on broken eggshells to avoid further conflict. No one dares to take them to task, and so nothing changes until something happens to end this merry go around of chaos and destruction. One day it will, it always does.
You are in charge of your own destiny and fully capable of making your own decisions. It’s important to be emotionally and mentally stable enough to understand that silence is more powerful than noise. Insecure people will only attempt to eclipse your aura because they are jealous and feel threatened by your luminous presence. They are bored and tired of their dark, starless existence in the pitch-black night skies. The devil makes work for idle hands.
Being different is like a revolving door where secure people enter and the hapless insecure ones exit. They might fleetingly glimpse one another, but then they are gone. Be mindful not to confuse insecurity and inadequacy for humility because they are very different things. If you wait until you are stronger, braver and more talented than you are now, you are setting yourself up for failure. There is no better time for starting anything new than in the present moment.
Trivial conversations are mostly reserved for the shallow and superficial who don’t really know what they are talking about. Neither do they know when to stop, and so they carry on spluttering endless drivel. Let the truth scream louder than the lies that have infected innocent souls. Action speaks louder than words.
The hallmark of insecurity is bravado.
Love and light,
Linda and the Lulas xxx
