Christmas Message 2019

Hello Readers,

Christmas is doing a little something extra for others, whether they be family, friends or for those in need. Christmas is the very word that brings joy to our hearts and conjures up nostalgic memories of Christmas past. No matter how much we may dread the rush, the long Christmas lists for cards, gifts and other things to be bought and given, when Christmas day is finally here, the same feeling we had as children and the same warmth that enfolds our hearts and our home is still there. Christmas is a necessity because there must be more than one day in the year to remind us that we are here for something other than ourselves.

It’s the spirit of Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air, spreading love and good will to all whom it makes that special connection with. It’s the personal thoughtfulness, the warm human awareness and the reaching out of the self to one’s friends and loved ones that makes giving worthy of Christmas. If Christmas isn’t found in your heart, you won’t find it under any tree, or anywhere else for that matter.

Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in the world will not make Christmas white because at Christmas, all roads lead to home.

I would like to thank you all for following my weekly messages and daily Facebook Posts. Your kindness, warmth, generosity and friendship is always much welcomed and very greatly appreciated.
