Give Yourself Credit

Hello Readers,

Give yourself credit for having come so far because a lot of other people would have given up a long time ago. Situations that once scared you are no longer intimidating, so use every challenge and life test to face your fears and overcome feeling quite so overwhelmed by stuff that really isn’t nearly as important as you may have initially believed.

An accomplished person remains calm an in control on the outside so as not to appear vulnerable and an easy target because once you let your guard down you leave yourself wide open to all kinds of negativity and people who will stop at nothing to take advantage of your generosity and friendship.

Self-protection at all times and becoming even more selective than ever before as whom you choose to entertain is extremely important. You know when you are on the right track by how another person or situation makes you feel and there is no law saying that you have to entertain anything nor anyone that your instincts tell you is wrong. There is no point in deliberately putting yourself in a weakened position by agreeing to doing stuff and associating with people that you know will ultimately drain the life out of you.

There is nothing to be gained by appearing a ‘nice person’ or behaving like a ‘people pleaser’ except being viewed as a door mat once your uses are exhausted and you become surplus to requirement. The more you respect yourself, the more others will respect you. The stronger and tougher the boundaries you put down are, the clearer the message you will successfully transmit to the rest of the world informing them exactly where they stand in your favours.

You do not have to put up with second or third best in anything. You deserve the best because you are the best. By changing your habits today, you prepare the ground and outcome of any future decisions at a later date, for tomorrow.
