New Beginnings

Hello Readers,

 

New beginnings, new start, new mindset and new focus brings new intentions and new results. The secret to change is to focus all of your energies not on fighting the old, but on building the new. It’s okay to be scared because it means that you are about to do something really brave. It means that you are willing to step out of your comfort zone. You can learn new things at any time of your life if you are willing to be a beginner. In order to make progress, we sometimes have to take risks, otherwise we remain in the same position with our minds closed to new higher learning, but receptive to a life of darkness and stagnation, and there are a lot of people who live in that bubble who never manage to find a way through and will often resent those who intend on living a happy, positive life. There are far better things ahead than anything that we leave behind. Sometimes, all we need is a fresh start, a chance to start over again, but this time to do things completely differently. To have learned from past mistakes and vow never to repeat them again is a great accomplishment in itself. Never be afraid to start over again because it’s a chance to rebuild your life the way you wanted all along, only in the past, you didn’t know how to. 

 

People who say they know you well probably do not really know you at all. A year ago you were a different person to how you are now. So much has happened, so much has changed. All the battles, trials and tribulations you have endured and conquered have all led you to the place you are now. You are now a voice of great experience and in a far better position to help others because you have gained such wisdom and knowledge by walking the walk and not just talking the talk. But sometimes, in order to move on with the rest of your life you have to say goodbye to certain people and old lifestyles and habits that no longer enhance your new world. In fact, they become a negative hindrance and have no longer have any place or attraction in the life that you now created for yourself. There comes a day when you realise that turning the page is the best feeling in the universe because you realise that there is more to your book of life than the page you were previously stuck on. An amazing thing happens when you start being honest with yourself and start doing things that you love and being with people who make you feel happy. Your life suddenly seems to slow down. You stop wishing for the weekend, you stop focusing on special events so much as a means to making your life more interesting. It’s because you start living in the ‘Now’. You begin to move more fluidly, speak and sound more calm and together and people begin to notice you more. It’s because you have stopped running in different directions looking for a magical ‘fix’ to make your life perfect. It’s because there is no longer an empty void to fill. It’s at this point that you will begin to notice all the other people who are forever running around in all kinds of aimless directions or trapped in addictive lifestyles that you begin to realise how far you have travelled on your journey to accomplishing inner peace and contentment. There is no price on peace of mind. None at all. It’s not for sale. You cannot give it away as a gift nor buy it in a shop. It has to be discovered for yourself. The best day of your life is when you decide that your life is your own. No apologies or excuses, no one to lean on or blame. You stop wishing your life away. Your life is a fascinating journey and you alone are responsible for all the choices that you make. Very often, hitting rock bottom becomes the solid foundation on which you can rebuild your life. 

 

Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath and start again because this is the start of something wonderful.
