We must dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be. What it means to be authentic is to be more concerned with truth than the opinions of others. It’s not being fearful of others seeing your vulnerabilities, nor wearing a false mask pretending to be what you are not because one day the truth will surface. Always be confident to walk away from anything that threatens your wellness and happiness and be awake to your own feelings.
Loneliness is responding for feeling inadequate and isolated with our fears. You are not really invisible, it just feels like it sometimes. Sooner or later, someone is going to grab you by the hand and tell you that you are beautiful, loved and special, so accept their kindness and good intentions in good faith. Allow yourself to feel better about yourself because you deserve it. The more things you become interested in, the less you will struggle with stuff that doesn’t matter and that are unimportant.
The truth is that we will all have to face hardships of some kind during our lifetime. You can never truly know the extent of the real struggles others are enduring, but you can show compassion, understanding and empathy. Always try to be a good listener. Those who overcome and combat great challenges will be changed forever because although universal tests enter our lives like unwanted guests, they also bring with them valuable gifts in the form of life lessons. It is only through great hardships and suffering that we grow and evolve.
Summon your inner strength because survival is your most potent instinct. When everything seems against us, we naturally fight back with the intention of winning the war. Don’t be afraid to start something new because you can build something far better and greater than before if you try. Never be afraid to share your inner thoughts and personal stories because these examples may help others during their darkest hours. Let them know that there is no need to struggle alone because a friend in need is a friend indeed. There is a time and place for everything, and when the time is right, what is meant to be will happen, but not a minute before nor after. Everyone’s spiritual path is unique to them, so don’t make the mistake of comparing your life to others, otherwise you will grow very discouraged. The grass is never greener on the other side. There are those who constantly chase the bright lights wherever they may flicker, but they never find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because the goal posts keep changing position and what they are running after dissolves into the ether. And even if you can’t see it now, things will change and improve and get better because eventually everything does. The wheel of life never stops turning. Out if chaos comes change and new beginnings. Life is full of wonder for those who want to see. Only when you look at your reflection will you see how far you have travelled, so be proud of your progress and continue along your journey.
Prepare yourself for the next chapter because this life is about learning, personal growth, spiritual development and discovering your life purpose. Always remember that your thoughts matter, your feelings matter and that you matter. The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are. True belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.
