In this life, if you are going to survive, it’s important that you listen to your gut instincts and abide by them. If your gut instincts are screaming alarm bells at you, then it’s for a reason and because there is usually something very wrong. You are not experiencing these strange sensations for nothing. A hunch is your gut feeling trying to tell you something. Your intuition is always right in at least two important ways. It’s always in response to something and it always has your best interests at heart. Most people are unaware of even the existence of their inner senses and it’s because they do not understand what intuition is or why it’s there that they continually repeat making the same mistakes over and over again. It’s important to listen to your gut feelings, your intuition, because although other people will let you down, your inner voice never will.
You have to learn to recognise who is genuine and who is not. Who is truthful and who is a liar. Who you can trust and who is untrustworthy. Some people give others the benefit of the doubt because they doubt themselves and their own judgement. They are secretly afraid of being unpopular and friendless. They often need to belong to other people or be part of a crowd. No matter how many times they are let down, they will still hang around with the same old crowd just as long as they do not have to spend a minute more than they have to suffering their own company. They still get shown all the warning signs, but they choose to ignore them. Their excuses are that they try to see the best in everyone, but when you try to point out the truth to them, do not like it one jot, so they turn a blind eye and live in their own deluded little bubble and repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
Once you start trusting that inner voice or feeling, you will find it helps you to avoid all sorts of difficult situations and in some instances, the people causing them. It’s also important that you don’t allow another person’s opinion to drown out your inner voice and manipulate you into ignoring your own intuition, so always trust what your heart is telling you because its pointing you in the right direction. You are not paranoid or unhinged, your body can pick up on bad vibrations and is there to warn you against making a mistake. If something deep down inside of you says something is wrong or not right about a person, trust it because your first instinct is usually right. You know the truth by the way it feels when you are in the presence of someone, or when they are speaking to you on the telephone. Always trust yourself and always be your own best friend.
